Q3 2022 will go down as the most variable quarter in Opendoor’s history.

By this I mean, the operating results in July look very different from the operating results in August and September. Most months skate smoothly from one to the next, with modest incremental changes in sales volume and margin.

Q3 breaks the mold.

Today we share the first in a trilogy of updates on Opendoor’s observed Q3 performance for Atoms Subscribers. This will cover July, and in mid-September we will share an August update. By the end of September we will release our estimates for Opendoor’s Q3 results.

Buckle up. This is a wild quarter.
